History:
Dmitri grew up as a part of a poor family of air genasis in a small village off the coast of Marquet. He was the light of his mother's eye, and he had two young siblings, Emrah and Esmeray. When war came to the area, he was required to fight in the army as a young man. It was during this war that a Rift would come sweep him up for the first time, giving the family he'd left behind the belief he'd died in the war. He hasn't heard anything of them since.

This first rift dropped him into modern day Beyond-the-Rift's version of Istanbul and turned him into an angel of light. Here he gained a found family, which had ties to Chicago's Crowbar and operated in a similar way. He learned to read and to write, learned to move forward with this new family for many years before they were horrifically and abruptly murdered by the Society - all of them killed as the only home he'd known since falling through the rift was set on fire. He set off on a path of vengeance against the Society which eventually took him to Chicago where he infiltrated the group and met Sarah Monroe (her father being one of the people responsible for what happened to his family in Istanbul).

Later the world would end putting his quest for revenge on hold, another rift would sweep him up and drop him off at the end of everything. He learned to rebuild here along with Sarah Monroe and fell in love with her throughout this. Unfortunately, his past would sneak up on him when an old friend from Istanbul falls through with a vendetta against him that Dmitri failed to see in his guilt.

And now the final rift has come to drop him off at a new end of the world - three trips through the rifts, three new beginnings.

Rift Changes:

+ Turned into an Angel (specifically an angel of light, which is a new/rare type of angel that can see and manipulate the 'good' in people as well as utilize light as a weapon or tool in multiple ways).
